This version was introduced in the late 2250s. The top was a long-sleeve, division-colored tunic. The collar had a black V-shaped patch in the front. Black pants were worn with black boots. Cadets wore this uniform with their own badge.

The rank insignia was displayed on the wearer's cuffs and an assignment patch was worn on the left breast.

A Skant version of the uniform was available to officers.

It consisted of a division colored long sleeve dress, with black sides, worn over black pants and boots. The collar had a bigger black v patch than the standard duty uniforms.

Another variant of the uniform, available to officers consisted of a black jumpsuit, with a division colored top, which featured black sides, sleeves and a shoulders stripe.

Doctors wore a light blue tunic jacket with a thick black collar.

Nurses wore a white jumpsuit, with light blue symbols on their shoulders, sleeves and around their waste. They also had a white V-shape color patch in the front of their collar.

Captains had a choice of more casual clothing to wear when on duty. These were a green wrap-around tunic, with a Starfleet delta as a fastener near the waist. One vergion had gold trim around the edges.

Flag officers wore a grey jacket with gold epaulets. They also had grey pants, black boots and wore their rank badge on their chest.

Flag Officers wore a division colored tunic with gold epaulets. The uniform also had a gold collar decal as well as a gold stripe decal that ran all the way down the center of the tunic. The tunic had darker colored stripes along its edges. It was worn with black pants and boots. No badge was worn; however, the officer's medals were pinned to the tunic.

For Cadets, the dress uniform consisted of a dark gray jumpsuit, with a black collar. Their division color was across the shoulders, as was a black and gold strip.

This black leather jacket, worn over the standard issue uniform, was used by landing parties during the late 2250s. It was often worn with a pair of black gloves.

Protective tactical gear with flashlights on the shoulders could be worn in combat situations over the uniform. It was mostly black, with a division-colored breastplate and worn over the black combat uniform.

Some personnel, like special operations officers, wore a version with a black breastplate instead.
